The Playlist of Doom Giveaway

I make it no secret that my weapon against writers block is making sure I always ave my IPod on full blast when I write. In fact music has been a huge inspiration in my writing. Whether it's the pace or the lyrics, certain songs set certain scenes and help drive my imagination

Since the release of The Demon Side, I have been asked by fans, bloggers, authors, and friends which songs I listened to while writing it. So, here it is folks, The Demon Side soundtrack. See if you can pinpoint the scene to the song. Leave a comment with your guess or guesses and you just may win a prize. That's right I'm giving stuff away. 


In the spirit of the season I'm giving away copies of The Demon Side to whoever you wish as a gift from you. It can be a friend, family member, or hell I'll send it to your dog if want. Ill also be giving away some pretty cool gift cards! That's right, what say Happy Christmas, Merry New New Year better than some spending money for Amazon.com and Itunes? Nothing that's what!

But it wouldn't be the giving season if I didn't make sure everyone got something for their comments. I also have some really cool Demon Side bookmarks as well. One will be sent to you and a friend, family member, ect. of your choice as a gift from you! Just be sure to leave your email address (not home address) along with your guess or comment. *Winners will be chosen December 31st, 2011*

    This book looks like it could be super cool. I would love to win it for my mom...no, my co-worker...or my mom....wait, wait, wait - definitely my co-worker...or my mom....oh geez! How about just for me? I SO badly want to read it! But I would like a bookmark too! :D I would've love to have won it for my dog, but its constantly with its nose in the newspaper, so I doubt he will have time to read your book, lol!! :D

    I'm afraid I also don't know the answer :( Haven't read the book yet, so not sure there would be any way I could guess. I really would love one of those bookmarks at least though :)

    @Becky I'm typing up the last chapter of The Human side now. Once I have it finished it will go through a quick revision, then off to editing it goes. Based off the publishing process for The Demon Side you could see it for sale as soon as a couple of months to six months.

    I am impressed that you can listen to music and write at the same time! I can only write in complete silence! How boring am l? But when l listen to music l have to shut everything else out too! The book looks amazing, great cover!

    I didnt know about till beniamin russell told me! but your book looks awesome,i would like to win a copy for my cat...or my mom..naw my cat would be better.sorry i cant guess the song,but all of them are great.good luck on all your writingand books.and i love the cover!

    Better than Me by Hinder. (Ra when his temper gets the better of him with Etta. She says "I knew you were a mistake".) I can see this song playing in the background when he is alone.

    Ghosts...Michael apologizes but still doesn't accept Ra
    SO Easily...Ra walks away from Etta and gives up

    Going under....the bloodfilled bathtub
    An Honest Mistake...Ra knocks john downstairs and saves Etta from stepmom...the look on Etta's face brings this song to mind (in Ra's mind)

    Leader of Men...John tells about the war and the village

    No More Tears...Etta never sheds a tear with her stepmother

    Apologize...Playing in background whenever John and Etta are around each other

    I haven't read your book yet but it's pretty cool to see a soundtrack for it. When I read a book, sometimes I will associate songs to a scene so that every time I hear it scenes from a book comes to mind.
